Ted Nugent: "Everyone Should Pray For Elon Musk"

During his recent episode of The Nightly Nuge, Ted Nugent shared opinion on Elon Musk and his strategy on managing Twitter, saying that everyone should pray for him.

Elon Musk announced this past April that he had attempts to buy one of the most popular social media platforms, Twitter, for his own. At the time, he was defending that Twitter would become a place people has had much more freedom on their speech. After months of negotiations, the attempts were finally over, and Elon Musk officially owned Twitter for over $44 billion on October 27, 2022.

Since then, Elon Musk has been criticizing harshly after suspending journalist’s accounts on Twitter. Earlier this month, Ye, formerly known Kanye West, has been even suspended from Twitter after he tweeted an image of a swastika blended with a star of David. Recently, Ted Nugent shared opinion on Elon Musk and his movements on Twitter after the host Keith read Musk’s tweet that said “The woke mind virus is either defeated or nothing else matters”.

Ted said: “Without the freedom to express your belief system, or just to be uppity and fun and defiant without a First Amendment absolutism, freedom is impossible.

“Elon Musk, all I can say is that I pray a lot – America needs prayers. The great Donald Trump needs prayers because he’s attacked like no other in the history of our country. Wrongfully attacked with lies and unfounded hate… just nasty made-up attacks. So I pray my fellow Americans who work very hard in trying to make ends meet with the price of gas, thanks to Joe Biden, the price of food, thanks to Joe Biden, the cost of living, thanks to Joe Biden, and my prayers are for Elon Musk.”

Ted Nugent then continued by saying that everybody should pray for Elon Musk (as transcribed by MetalCastle.net): “Stop and think; if he was on the other side, Keith. Stop and think that I was on the other side. Think if I was an anti-gunner instead of an absolute flame-throwing, pro-freedom, pro-second amendment absolutist. So, everybody should pray for Elon Musk because he is now proven what you and I knew instinctively for many years now.

“Once Twitter started going, and I saw that my Facebook posts were being censored. ‘Well, a private company can shut you up.’ I don’t think so. A restaurant owner can throw you out of the restaurant if you’re screaming obscenities. In fact, that is against the law. But First Amendment Absolutism is absolutely necessary for American freedom, and Elon Musk is on the front lines.

“So, I’ve given Elon Musk the Cockroach Spotlighter Lifetime Achievement Award because that’s really what he’s accomplishing. And, once again, thank god he’s on our side. God bless Elon Musk.”

This past November, Ted Nugent said that he’s suspecious on Elon Musk, revealing: “I don’t really even have to comment because everybody knows if they’ve been paying attention to Ted Nugent, I am exactly what the founding fathers wanted every American to be. Let me repeat that for people are going, ‘That’s outrageous,’” he says (as transcribed by MetalCastle.net). “My name is Ted Nugent, I am exactly what the founding fathers wanted every American to be: critical thinking, suspicious of all authority, and hold my elected employees constitutionally accountable to the very spirit of those unambiguous words that we will find in the sacred Bill Of Rights.

“I’m a critical thinker, I’m suspecious of everything. I have good spirit, and I have positive energy and attitude. And I’m basically an uppity uppity guitar playing backstrap and daddy.”
