Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page Remembers The Last Show Of The Black Crowes

The 76-year-old artist Jimmy Page, known for the legendary guitarist of the rock band Led Zeppelin, has just added a new story to his daily OnThisDay series and took fans back to the special show he played with The Black Crowes.

With a recent Instagram post he shared, Jimmy Page took fans back to 8 years ago and remembered the band’s last England show of Farewell To England tour, which held at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.

When he remembers those days, the successful musician made touching comments. He also said that it was sad that it was the band’s last show.

Jimmy Page wrote the following letter to remember that show:

“On this day in 2012, I went to see The Black Crowes ‘Farewell To England’ tour.⁣

“This was the last night of the tour at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London and The Black Crowes asked me to jam on ‘Shake Your Money Maker’ as an encore.⁣

“I just couldn’t say no, but felt really sad when I was told that this was said to be the last shows of such a brilliant band.⁣”

As a response to his social media post, many people wrote how a great band they was. Some of them said they were still listens their songs.
