Jamey Jasta Reacts To Bruce Dickinson Blasted Fans For Smoking Weed

Hatebreed singer Jamey Jasta took to his official Twitter to criticize Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson after the singer blasted people who smoked weed while his band was live on stage.

As some of you might remember, Bruce Dickinson was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014. At the time, the disease made him step away from his work and caused him tough times. In early 2015, he underwent two-month chemotherapy and radiation therapy to clean himself from the cancerous tumors. When his treatment was completed in the mid-May of 2015, Bruce Dickinson was told by his doctors that he was completely free of cancer.

This past September, while Iron Maiden was playing at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, Bruce Dickinson stopped the concert for minutes to denounce people who smoked weed in the audience. According to him, smoking right next to the stage was disrespectful to them and people who did not smoke. Also, for someone who had throat cancer years ago and has played music with his voice, it was necessary that the air had to be clean.

Recently, Jamey Jasta shared his thoughts on Iron Maiden man Bruce Dickinson‘s blasting people who were smoking weed in front of them. The first words of his tweet contained a piece of respectful words for Bruce Dickinson. But then, he criticized him unexpectedly.

“Bruce Dickinson if you read this, hi,” Jamey Jasta writes on his tweet. “You’re a great vocalist/frontman. We took your son’s band on tour. Hope you are well. Just so ya know. Lots of people like to smoke weed at outdoor concerts. WHAT DOESN’T ANNOY YOU BRO?!?! Besides flying planes? Lol you might need a puff or 2.”

Jasta even replied to a tweet that said Dickinson reprimanded the concertgoers at every show. Jasta said: “He will be now lol. Everyone is gonna puff even more. They should prolly give ‘em a break.”

Recalling what Bruce Dickinson told the audience back this past September when people smoked weed and disturbed the band and the audience, he said: “I don’t know what it is. There’s so many fucking people smoking so much fucking dope down here, I’m amazed you can even see. Poor old Steve. I don’t know if you know, but he absolutely fucking hates marijuana and the smell of it, all right? So when he’s trying to play bass, it fucks him up. It fucks me up. I’m a singer, all right? So duh.

“I would just ask for a tiny bit of respect,” he added. “If you want to go get completely stoned out of your fucking mind, go out the back and do it. All right? Otherwise you’re going to end up like this fucking knucklehead here going ‘uhhhh.'”
