Metallica frontman, co-founder and lead vocalist James Hetfield‘s one of the rarely known photos has been revealed by the original Metallica bassist, Ron McGovney.

Ron McGovney, the original bass player of the Grammy Award-winning heavy metal band Metallica, appeared with the band from October 1981 to December 1982. It was just before Cliff Burton, who replaced him at the time.

Anyway, with the recent Twitter post, the successful bassist showed his fans once again that he misses the old days he hanging out with his former bandmates. In the post, there was a photo of him and James Hetfield.

With the photo, Ron took fans back to 1992, captioning, “With James…… backstage at the L.A. Forum in 1992.”

Under his social media post, people thanked him for the photo he shared. While a follower writes, “Very cool! Thanks for sharing Ron,” another follower wrote, “Most of these pictures would never be seen if it wasn’t for you Ron, Thank you Sir.”
