Tool Wins 2020 Best Metal Performance Grammy For ‘7empest’

Formed in 1990, American rock band Tool was honored in the Best Metal Performance category at the 62nd Grammy Awards for “7empest”, which taken from their fifth studio album Fear Inoculum.

The other nominees have included “Astorolus – The Great Octopus” by Candlemass featuring Tony Iommi, “Humanicide” by Death Angel, “Bow Down” by I Prevail, and “Unleashed” by Killswitch Engage.

The Tool is currently on the road North American tour. The trek kicked off at Viejas Arena in San Diego, California, on January 10, and will conclude at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Lousiana, on February 1.
