Metallica’s Robert Trujillo Pays Tribute To Chris Cornell In A Special Way

The American musician Robert Trujillo, the bassist of the heavy metal band Metallica since 2003, has just updated his social channels to remember the special show he played with Dave Grohl, Brad Wilk, and Tom Morello.

On January 17, 2019, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl joined Tom Morello and Brad Wilk to perform Audioslave’s Show Me How To Live.

Recently, the successful bassist shared a special social media post to remember that day and paid his tribute to Chris Cornell with it. In the letter he shared, Robert wrote that it was a special night. He added his words that Chris’s legacy carries on.

“I just stumbled on this photo Brad Wilk sent me from the Chris Cornell benefit at the Forum. That was a really special night, I can’t believe it’s been over a year already. Rest easy Chris you are missed and your legacy carries on.”

Under his social media post, Braw Wilk commented and shared his thoughts about that day. He wrote:

“Was so great playin with ya brother!”
