Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page Recalls The Special Ceremony He Attended

The world-known rock band Led Zeppelin guitarist/founder Jimmy Page appeared his fans remembering the special invitation he attended and took fans back to the moment using his “OnThisDays” series.

Recently, the successful musician added a new story to his classic social media series and remembered the special moment he lived in 2006. With the post he shared, Jimmy Page touched the “Polar Music Prize Ceremony.”

He wrote the following letter: “On this day in 2006, I attended the Polar Music Prize Ceremony at the Konserthuset Royal Philharmonic Concert Hall in Stockholm, which is the same venue as the Nobel Prize Ceremony.

“Nina Persson of The Cardigans performed ‘Whole Lotta Love’ at the concert hall. Conny Bloom sang and played acoustically at the dinner reception.

“Every year, the Polar Music Prize is awarded to someone from the field of popular music and someone from the classical world. This year it had been awarded to Valery Gergiev, the passionate Russian conductor.”
