Green Days Upset Fans About The Band’s Future Plans

The American rock band Green Day upset its fans by announcing that The Hella Mega Tour cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

With a recent statement shared by the promoters, the Australasian leg of the Hella Mega Tour has been canceled due to the COVID-19. The headliners, which include Green Day, Fallout Boy and Weezer, shared a joint statement to announce it to their fans.

In the statement shared by Green Day, they were saying that they beyond bummed to announce the news.

“Australia and New Zealand, we’re beyond bummed to announce that the upcoming Hella Mega dates in November have been cancelled.

“We kept trying to put this piece of the puzzle together, but unfortunately it’s just not possible due to the uncertainty of the government COVID-19 travel restrictions, mass gatherings and most importantly for the safety of our fans, crew and staff.

“Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

“We love you all and we’ll be back rocking with you at some point. Until then, stay safe.”

Under their social media post, many fans expressed their devastating. Many of them shared heartbreaking letters to reveal their sadness.
