The world-famous American drummer Mike Portnoy, best known with his works in the world-famous progressive metal band Dream Theater between 1985-2010, has recently sent a new photo through his social media account and shared his thoughts about the unexpected split of the legendary members Chuck D and Flavor Favor.
“It was a crazy day of news between all the coronavirus stuff and the political stuff leading to Super Tuesday…but I think the worst news for me today was the split between Chuck D and Flavor Favor. Hopefully #brothersgonnaworkitout,” he wrote in the caption of the photo he shared.
Recently, the American hip hop band Public Enemy has parted ways with the band’s original member from 1989 to 2020, Flavor Flav. The band’s hype man Chuck D said that the dismissal was all about money.
“Spoke Bernie Sanders rally with Enemy Radio,” he wrote in the social media statement he shared. “If there was a $ bag, Flav would’ve been there front & center. He will NOT do free benefit shows. Sued me in court the 1st time I let him back in. His ambulance lawyer sued me again on Friday & so now he stays home & better find REHAB.”
Flavor Flav responded his comments and said:
“Are you kidding me right now??? Over Bernie Sanders??? You wanna destroy something we’ve built over 35 years OVER POLITICS??? All because I don’t wanna endorse a candidate. I’m very disappointed in you and your decisions right now Chuck.”
Flavor said there is no Public Enemy without Flavor Flav.
“I didn’t sue you on Friday. I asked the Bernie Sanders campaign to correct misleading marketing, that’s all it was. I’m not your employee. I’m your partner, you can’t fire me. There is no Public Enemy without Flavor Flav. So let’s get it right Chuck.
“Also, I‘m not on drugs like you’re saying and have been clean for 10 years. I have battled addiction before and like millions of other Americans I know the massive toll it takes. Chuck you know better than to lie about shit like that.”
Spoke @BernieSanders rally with @EnemyRadio. If there was a $bag, Flav would’ve been there front & center. He will NOT do free benefit shows. Sued me in court the 1st time I let him back in. His ambulance lawyer sued me again on Friday & so now he stays home & better find REHAB
