Wolfgang Van Halen Reveals His Last Name’s Affect On His Musical Career

The talented musician Wolfgang Van Halen, known as the son of the late guitarist Eddie Van Halen, commented on how his last name affects his musical career and made some comments that make sense.

As some of those might know, he is the son of the Van Halen guitarist and one of the biggest guitarists, Eddie Van Halen. He has been making new music actively since his father’s passing.

However, recently, he made an appearance on 89 A Rádio Rock.

When the interviewer asked if having a famous last name has been a blessing or a curse in terms of helping him establish himself as a solo artist in the music industry, he said: “I think it’s a bit of both. While the last name may conveniently open doors, it doesn’t keep them open.

“So I think as long as you have the goods, that’s what’ll carry you further.

“So I guess that’s yet to be seen. We’ll have to see. Only time will tell, I guess.”
