Dee Snider After Winning ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ Copyright Case: “HALLELUJAH!”
The American heavy metal band Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider took to his official Twitter account to share his thoughts after winning the “We’re Not Gonna Take It” copyright case against the Australian businessman and politician Clive Palmer.
As some of you might remember, Clive Palmer used the track’s lyrics without permission which was originally sung by Dee Snider. Although Snider’s lyrics are, “Oh we’re not gonna take it, no we ain’t gonna take it, oh we’re not gonna take it anymore,” the politician’s arrangement rewritten the words, reading, “Australia ain’t gonna cop it, no Australia’s not gonna cop it, Aussies not gonna cop it anymore.”
Recently, the case has finally been concluded and the politician was sentenced to pay $1.5 million in damages for copyright infringement.
Dee Snider Reveals His Happiness
Following the announcement, Dee Snider showed off his happiness by using his official Twitter account and shared a few words to reveal what he thought when he got the message the first time. According to Dee, Australia has been decided as the writer of the song.

Dee Blasts The Politician and Said Someone Had To Say ‘Enough’
Later, Dee Snider has quoted a fan’s tweet and continued to defend his arguments. He blasted the politician and the others who just like him. Dee Snider stated in the tweet that someone had to say enough to them.
When a fan said, “It’s not my money; not my personal win… and yet after watching so many politicians do what they like with musicians music, I really enjoy this,” Dee Snider answered and expressed his thoughts.
“Honestly Brett, this was for everyone,” Snider said. “Bullies like Clive Palmer think they can do whatever they want and make up the rules as they go along. Someone had to say, ‘No you can’t.’ and I thank @umg for backing me in this message!”

Dee Blasted Clive By Saying He Is An Awful Human
Later, Dee Snider continued his words by blasting the politician. He said about him that he would be ashamed if his kids were like him.
When a person has sent a video which says Dee Snider said “okay” to Donald Trump to use his lyrics, Dee Snider criticized the politician.
“He opened up about his stance politically and catered to the literal scum of the earth to get elected,” Dee said. “He’s a misogynist and doesn’t believe in a woman’s right to choose. He turned out to be an awful human being. If my kids were like him I’d be ashamed. Is that enough?”
