David Ellefson Shares New Updates About Dave Mustaine and New Album

In a recent interview with Pomelo Rocker, Megadeth legend David Ellefson talked about the band’s upcoming studio album and his band-mate Dave Mustaine’s health status. Ellefson also hopes that Mustaine will be “ready” in time for Megadeth‘s upcoming Europe tour with Five Finger Death Punch.

In the interview, he said: “Dave has just the completed his throat cancer treatments. We’re hopeful and optimistic about a full recovery for him with that. Once he’s through that process, we’re gonna just let that take as much time as it needs, and then we’ll resume with the album. I’d like to hope maybe 2020 we’ll be able to get a new album out.”

Megadeth is the special guest of Five Finger Death Punch with Bad Wolves on the 2020 European Winter Tour. The tour will begin in Helsinki, Finland on 20 January and will end in Budapest, Hungary and will visit a total of 14 European countries.
