Alter Bridge Star Reveals Mind-Blowing Fact About Slash That Surprise You

Alter Bridge guitarist Myles Kennedy revealed a mind-blowing fact that might surprise you on your knowledge about Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash.

During an interview with The Jasta Show on their 592nd episode, the interviewer touched on the guitarist’s friendship with Slash. He asked, “What is Slash good at that we’d be surprised?” He also asked if he good at sport or cricket.

According to the guitarist, Slash‘s knowledge of reptiles and dinosaurs is mind-blowing: “It’s his knowledge of reptiles and dinosaurs, that’s mind-blowing. We went to this museum up in Alberta – in Alberta, there’s a lot of dinosaur history, and so the museum had all these dinosaur bones and everything.

“So they give us this cool backstage tour of the museum, and this person who specializes in it, Slash was practically schooling him. He knew as much, if not more.

“And that person that was leading us around was even looking at him just kind of like, ‘What is going on here?’ He just knew all the names, he knew when they were on the planet, he knew what they ate…”

Later, he continued by remembering a joke he made about Slash‘s knowledge and interest for dinosaurs and reptiles.

“I actually joked with him once, I thought, ‘You know what would be really cool? If you had a TV show. People would love this. You could call it ‘Jurassic Slash’ or something. It would be groovy, I’d watch that,'” the musicians says.

“That’s one of the many talents. He’s also very well-read, he reads a lot of books, he’s a real avid reader.”

When the interviewer repeated asking if he talented in sport, the guitarist said: “He’s a pretty athletic cat. I know he was really into BMX, and I think he was good at that. But as far as football or baseball, I don’t think so. It’s not what I’ve seen.”
