Paul Stanley For New Pantera: "Dime And Vinnie Would Be Proud"

KISS frontman Paul Stanley has commented about the new Pantera, whose remaining members were joined by Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. Paul showed off good vibes for the band.

Pantera announced its reunion this past July and shocked the whole metal world decades after disbandment. At the time, it was also announced that the reunited lineup would feature Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante to replace the Abbott brothers. On December 2 in Mexico, Pantera played its first show in 21 years, and it was an absolute blast.

Paul Stanley was one of those who enjoyed the new Pantera band. He shared his thoughts on the band’s first show in 21 years and said they were insane. He also mentioned the duo Charlie Benante and Zakk Wylde, who eagerly awaited whether they would play well.

“THRILLED to see Phil, Rex and PANTERA back and KILLIN’ it! Zakk and Charlie clearly did their homework with love and commitment,” Paul tweets.

He also recalled the time Pantera played alongside his band KISS. According to him, they were huge: “Pantera did shows with us years ago and were ferocious and explosive. Others tried but NOBODY could be them.” Paul clearly defends that “Dime and Vinnie would be proud. @Pantera.”

Charlie Benante replied to Paul Stanley’s praising words, saying: “Thank you @PaulStanleyLive, you just made my year.”

As of today, Pantera will play its next show at Monterrey Metal Fest in Mexico on December 6, 2022. After that, their next step will be Knotfest Columbia on December 9, 2022.
