Jimmy Page Recalls Led Zeppelin’s One Of The Most Emotional Days

The guitarist and founder of the rock band Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page, has just updated his official Instagram page to recall his band Led Zeppelin’s one of the emotional days and take fans back to their first United States trek.

Jimmy Page, who has 1.1M followers on Instagram, adds special and epic stories to his OnThisDay social media series and informs fans about his and his band Led Zeppelin’s past. This time, he mentioned their first United States trek and made fans emotional.

In the social media post, Jimmy Page was saying that Led Zeppelin made his first United States trek in 1968. He also mentioned where his band stayed during the tour and that it made him excited at the time.

Jimmy Page wrote, “On this day in 1968, it was Led Zeppelin’s first journey to the United States.⁣”

He continued, “The members of Led Zeppelin entered the United States for our first American Tour, and we stayed at one of my old Yardbird haunts – The Chateau Marmont.”

He concluded by expressing his excitement. “I had been used to touring the States with The Yardbirds over the previous two years, but for first timers Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jones, it was not going to take long for them to be initiated in to the ways of the US!”
