AC/DC’s Brian Johnson Opens Up Rare-Known Health Issue: “It Was Crippling”

The successful singer Brian Johnson, known for his great works with AC/DC, who announced its reunion with a legendary line-up after 5-year hiatus, opened up his hearing issues in a recent interview he made with Rolling Stone and informed fans about it.

As many of you guys know, Brian Johnson struggled with hearing issues in his past. At the time, in 2016, he said that he lost his hearing in his left ear and that he found blood in his ear when he removed his helmet.

Speaking about the issue, Brian Johnson stated that it made really hard times for him and that it was pretty serious. He also touched that loss’ affects and expressed that it was horrible deafness.

When he was asked about the issue, Brian said, “It was pretty serious. I couldn’t hear the tone of the guitars at all. It was a horrible kind of deafness. I was literally getting by on muscle memory and mouth shapes.”

He continued: “I was starting to really feel bad about the performances in front of the boys, in front of the audience. It was crippling. There’s nothing worse than standing there and not being sure.”

Brian Johnson was in the announced lineup of AC/DC, who recently announced its reunion to make awareness by using PWRUP.
