Queens Of The Stone Age Cancel/Postpone All Remaining 2024 Tour Dates

Queens Of The Stone Age have canceled or postponed their remaining North American tour dates of 2024.

“Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care throughout the year,” the band said in a statement posted on social media, referring to frontman Josh Homme‘s post-surgery health update.

Queens of the Stone Age were forced to cancel several of their shows in July when Homme needed emergency surgery, A series of European festival dates scheduled for August were also affected as he needed time for recovery.

Josh Homme was diagnosed with cancer in 2022.

Queens of the Stone Age’s North American tour dates were set to kick off in September.

The rock band’s appearances at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on September 29, the Mempho Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee, on October 6, and the Corona Capital Music Festival in Mexico City, Mexico, on November 17, have been canceled.

Their performances at MGM Music Hall in Boston on September 27 and 28, at Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati on October 1, at Huntington Bank Pavilion @ Northerly Island in Chicago on October 2, and at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, WI, on October 4, have been postponed to 2025.

“Festival ticket holders are advised to visit specific event sites for updated information. Ticket holders for QOTSA shows will be contacted by point of purchase with further information about the new dates,” notes the statement.
