Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has recently appeared to talk about one of the saddest news of recent times, the tragic passing of the Canadian-American television personality, Alex Trebek, also known as the host of the ‘Jeopardy!’

As reported a few hours ago, the successful artist has passed away alongside his family due to stage 4 pancreatic cancer, according to ‘Jeopardy!’ spokesperson. He was 80 and beloved by many people who were interested in television shows.

Recently, Tom Morello, who has 818k followers on Twitter, took to his official Twitter to pay his tribute to Alex Trebek and made meaningful comments about him and his personality. The 56-year-old guitarist stated with the post that Alex Trebek was an important person for him.

Speaking about Alex Trebek, Tom Morello touched his inspiration to people who watched him and grown up with is television shows. Tom said that he made people happier and smarter.

Sharing his post, Tom wrote: “Rest In Peace, Alex Trebeck. A brilliant educator and fixture of our lives for decades he made everyone who watched Jeopardy happier and smarter. Thank you.”

Under Tom Morello’s tribute post, people commented to mention Alex Trebek’s greatness. Even so, a fan named Tim touched his affecting on him and said, “He was the Fred Rogers of game shows. I grew up with him and Jeopardy became one of my all time favorite shows. He was a keeper of knowledge, information and facts. It was important then and it still is more probably more than ever.
