Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Claims Sebastian Bach Was The ‘Icing’ on the Cake For Skid Row

Corey Taylor, the frontman and lead vocalist of the heavy metal act Slipknot, made his recent appearance on the 441st episode of the Bertcast podcast and expressed his passion and admiration for the former Skid Row singer, Sebastian Bach.

Speaking about Sebastian Bach’s effect on Skid Row, Corey Taylor stated that he put out a new perspective on the first two Skid Row albums. He also said that the five members had a great relationship together.

“Yeah, he’s one of my heroes, man. The first two Skid Row albums are amazing and I’ll fight people on it.

“But at the same time, the thing about Sebastian when he first started was – he also had that crew in the music as well. And those five dudes were so good.

“You could hear the way that Snake and Scotti – the way their guitars blended together, the way Rachelcould put basslines together and write lyrics, the way Rob played drums, there was something…”

Continuing his words, Corey Taylor said that Skid Row just like Guns N’ Roses and it was special. He concluded by praising Sebastian Bach, saying he was the perfect voice.

“You could hear the way that Snake and Scotti – the way their guitars blended together, the way Rachelcould put basslines together and write lyrics, the way Rob played drums, there was something…

“It’s just like the original five Guns N’ Roses guys. There was something so special about that chemistry that we forget sometimes that Sebastian was just the icing on the cake for that.

“He was the perfect voice for that music and that’s why those albums are still fucking so righteous.”
