Megadeth Pays Tribute To Pele
The heavy metal band Megadeth took to its Twitter account to pay tribute to the Brazilian football legend Pele.
Being a legend is not easy in any way. Besides being talented, it may also be necessary to dedicate your life to what you would do. Pele was such a football player too. He was a world-class talent and made the whole world admire him. His total of 1279 goals scored in 1363 matches helped to make him one of the best players in the world.
Born on October 23, 1940, Pele struggled with health issues for years. Everything started in 1977 when the football legend Pele had his right kidney removed. In 2012, he underwent a successful hip operation. 2018 and 2019 were not good for him too, as he experienced several surgeries, including removing kidney stones. In 2021, Pele had surgeries to remove a tumor. On December 21, 2022, it was reported that Pele‘s tumor had advanced. On December 29, 2022, Pele passed away at age 82, and the cause of death is a complication of colon cancer.
Legends are always treated with respect. Language, religion or race does not matter anything. A legend is a legend for everyone. Pele was also a football legend and was also on the radar of one of the music legends, Megadeth. When Pele passed away, the Megadeth band wrote a short text for the football legend. Megadeth Fans Also Pays Tribute To Pele
Under the band’s tweet, Megadeth fans from Brazil sent their heartwarming messages for both Megadeth and Pele. They were talking about how great band Megadeth was.
“Thanks,” a fan named Rodrigo Lestrade tweeted for Megadeth. “Great remembrance from a great band. Brazilian fans will know how to return the affection when you guys come over.”

Another fan says, “A gentle man on and off the field. Very humble too,” while a Megadeth fan named Kevin writes, “I’m Brazilian, and I love you even more now. When you come to Brazil, come to Porto Alegre – Rio Grande do Sul, there is a very large community of fans of yours.”
There was also a fan named Vinny thanked Megadeth, saying: “Thank you for remembering our king. You are always welcome to Brazil.”

Megadeth will be playing its first 2023 tour at Toyosu Pit, in Japan, on February 24. They will then visit Budokan indoor arena on February 27 and Osaka Grand Cube on February 28.
