MARK TREMONTI on Metallica Record: “That’s The Record That Turned Me Into A Music Fanatic”

A founding member and the guitarist of the rock band Alter Bridge, Mark Tremonti, revealed his favorite Metallica record and touched the album’s importance for him.

Mark Tremonti, who is known for his admiration for Metallica, has recently appeared on Hakos Pervanidis. In the interview, the talented guitarist spoke about Metallica. During the interview, the guitarist was asked if he reveals his favorite albums of all time.

When Mark mentioned his favorite albums, he chose Metallica‘s epic album ‘Master of Puppets‘ was one of those. He said that he listened to the album thousand of times. Mark also said that every song on the album is a 10 out of 10.

“My favorite record of all time,” Mark said. “I’ve listened to it thousands of times. That’s the record that turned me into a music fanatic.

“Before I heard that record, I was listening to the Beastie Boys, I was listening to The J. Geils Band and whatever was popular on the radio,” Mark continued. “I came across that record and from that point on, I’ve been a metalhead, looking for the heaviest thing that I could find.

“And I think Metallica ‘Master Of Puppets’ is Metallica at their best,” Mark concluded. “Every single song on that record is a 10 out of 10.”

Mark Tremonti has recently released a new deluxe edition of ‘Walk the Sky,’ ‘Walk the Sky 2.0,’ with his band Alter Bridge. The seven-song EP has released on September 15, 2020.

Mark Tremonti is a member of the Alter Bridge since its first day, 2004.
