Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page Reveals The Memorable Performance He Lived

The legendary guitarist Jimmy Page, known for the guitarist of Led Zeppelin, has just updated his daily ‘OnThisDay’ series and remembered the special show he played with Robert Plant, who was a member of the band between 1968-1980.

With a recent Instagram post, Jimmy Page took fans back to the special event he played under the name of Page and Plant Project. The event aimed to promote the Walking into Clarksdale album, which was the only studio album by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant.

To reveal the story, Jimmy Page wrote the following words:

“On this day in 1998, I played on the Page and Plant Project promoting the ‘Walking into Clarksdale ‘ album at Jones Beach. It was the last date of the first leg of the North American tour. The Jones Beach Theater is an amphitheatre in Long Island. ⁣

“For me it was one of the best shows; a memorable performance. The band really connected. The high points were serial and intensified throughout the set. The drummer Michael Lee and I had an emotional hug when we came off stage.⁣”

In the comments of his social media post, his Instagram followers commented on it and thanked him for the stories he shared.
