KISS Postpones A Concert After Paul Stanley Tested Positive For COVID

The American rock band KISS has recently announced via social media accounts that they’ve been forced to postpone its The Pavilion at Star Lake show in Burgettstown, PA, due to Paul Stanley has tested positive for COVID.

As some of you might remember, Gene Simmons told in a new podcast shared on August 20 that KISS will never do any meet-n-greets during the tour to protect their crew from possible infections. Following a week, the band, unfortunately, announced the sad news. 

In a recent social media statement, KISS admitted that Paul Stanley has COVID, and the Burgettstown show was postponed. They also touched on the current state of the tour’s crew and said that all crew members were fully vaccinated.

“Tonight’s KISS show at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA is unfortunately postponed due to Paul Stanley testing positive for COVID,” KISS said in the statement. “More information about show dates will be made available ASAP.

“Everyone on the entire tour, both band and crew are fully vaccinated. The band and their crew have operated in a bubble independently to safeguard everyone as much as possible at each show and in between shows.

“The tour also has a COVID safety protocol officer on staff full-time that is ensuring everyone is closely following all CDC guidelines.”

Paul Stanley Informs KISS Fans About His Current State Of Health

After the band announced the postponement of the show, Paul Stanley cleared the air about his current state of health. He told KISS fans that he feels great and that he is not in ICU.

“People,” Paul states. “I am fine! I am not in ICU! My heart allows me to do 26 miles a day on my bike! I don’t know where this came from but it’s absolute nonsense.”

“I had been sick with flu-like symptoms and was tested repeatedly and was negative,” he adds. “As of late this afternoon I tested positive. The crew, staff, and band have all tested negative once again. More to follow.”
